Reporting to the Supervisor, Warranty Processing & Support, this position is primarily responsible for the administration activities related to investigation and processing of warranty tickets and claims for dealer repair reimbursement while acting within the terms and conditions of the Mazda’s warranty. 
 
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Authorize and process warranty repair tickets
  • Process pending claims
  • Apply acquired business skills and automotive repair knowledge to control claim expenses without compromising customer satisfaction
  • Validate component coverage and claim eligibility
  • Respond to MCI Staff and Dealer inquiries
  • Investigate and process dealer repair requests and claims, providing authorization for repairs, according to MCI policies and procedures
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of administrative guides, forms and bulletins
Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required):
  • Completed Post-Secondary degree or diploma
  • Bilingual (English/French) written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years’ automotive dealer service experience
  • Customer service focused with strong problem solving skills and the ability to create recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure
  • Proficient PC skills (MS Office, Word, Excel and Access)
  • Automotive technical training or knowledge considered an asset
