The Coordinator, Vendor Management located in the Richmond Hill office will be on a hybrid work arrangement. Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) Parts Operations requires a strong individual who can communicate effectively across the corporate environment with a focus on evolving partnerships and the related supplier relationships.
Reporting to the National Manager, Parts Operations, the Coordinator, Vendor Management role will design and develop a national vendor management program with the authority to make supplier recommendations, reviews, process improvements, contract administration and a variety of developmental duties, all dealer and supplier facing with the support of the Parts Operations teams.
Essential Duties include (but are not limited to):
Manage and develop all vendor communications and correspondence while supporting related dealer facing communications
Communicate effectively, build relationships and partner with the global supply chain vendors to ensure the highest inventory effectiveness for the Canadian Marketplace
Partner and effectively communicate with internal business units to develop, negotiate and administer the national supplier contracts
Lead and facilitate monthly vendor/supplier reviews by creating a national supplier review process
Create and develop a continuous feedback process for vendor communications
Plan, develop and create an online interactive vendor portal through partnering and effectively communicating with internal business units
Utilize database management to accurately develop and align the current vendor processes to meet MCI business operating needs
Lead, develop, management of a critical supplier list and the related alternate source plans
Lead, develop, manage ongoing Market Intelligence platform with a continuous feedback loop to the Parts Operations teams
